Clients engage in motivating games or activities as they learn proper placement of the lips, tongue and jaw. They may also learn about speech breathing and phonological awareness. They are presented with progressively more challenging tasks; starting with the target sound and building up to syllable, words, sentences and ultimately conversation. Tasks are individually tailored to remediate phonological processing disorders, apraxia, lisp, speech sound disorder, cluttering and dysarthria.
